After the end of the term, your contract will continue as a “valid until further notice” type of contract. If you wish, you can change your contract with a 14-day notice period.

In case the terms of the contract change, we'll notify you a month in advance.

Changing the electricity supplier is easy. Make a contract with the electricity company of your choice, either online or by contacting customer service. Your new electricity company will handle the formalities of changing the supplier.

Terminating your electricity contract

Do you want to terminate your contract? You can terminate your electricity contract in Oma Hehku by identifying yourself with your online banking credentials or mobile certificate. After submitting the termination request, you will receive an email once the termination has been processed.

It’s smart to make your new electricity contract in advance.

If you're switching suppliers at your current address, remember that electricity contracts typically have a 14-day notice period. Fixed-term contracts cannot be terminated early unless you're moving. So, check whether your current contract is fixed-term or valid until further notice.
If you're moving and need a new electricity contract, you can usually choose the contract to start in 5 business days at the earliest. But don’t worry if you forgot to make the contract and your moving day is approaching fast — just contact our customer service, and we’ll help get your electricity started sooner if needed.

You can set your new contract to start up to 90 days (3 months) in advance.
