Hehku Energia Oy – familiarly known as Hehku – is one of the fastest-growing energy companies in Finland. Our operations are built on reasonably priced and easy-to-understand energy products. Our goal is to enable a straightforward and carefree energy daily life for our customers.

At Hehku, we don’t believe in rigid structures or overly complicated energy jargon. We believe that selling electricity should be honest, transparent, and above all, focused on serving the customer and their needs.

At the core of our operations is a desire to offer Finnish homes and businesses smarter ways to manage their daily energy use. We serve consumers, companies, and housing associations across Finland with electricity contracts, solar power solutions, EV charging services, and home battery systems.

In a short period, we have grown into one of Finland’s most significant electricity retailers, and today nearly 110,000 customers trust us with their energy matters. This trust is something we deeply value, and we nurture it by investing in exceptionally good customer service and clear communication.

 

Supporting our customers in everyday energy use

Hehku was founded in 2023 when the Swedish Elify Energy Group acquired the Finnish electricity sales business of Norway’s GNP Energy and transformed it into Hehku Energia. Our team consists of around 30 energy professionals.

Hehku was created out of a desire to challenge the traditional and often rigid practices of the electricity market. We are a bright and modern alternative in the market, bringing energy matters closer to people – always in a simple and approachable way. As a company, it is important to us that every interaction with us leaves a positive impression.

Our customer service team, located at our headquarters, supports customers in all electricity-related matters. Customer service is one of the cornerstones of our operations, and we invest in high-quality, friendly, and easily accessible service.
