Residual mix for 2023

The residual mix (in FIN) shows the energy sources used for electricity production that is not certified with guarantees of origin or whose origin is unknown.

The residual mix for 2023 (in FIN) was as follows:

  • Fossil energy sources and peat: 80.62%
  • Renewable energy sources: 5.34%
  • Nuclear energy: 14.04%

The average carbon dioxide emissions from electricity production based on the residual mix are 554.90 g/kWh, and the amount of nuclear fuel used is 0.44 mg/kWh.
