The Oma Hehku app is especially useful for spot electricity users. The app combines real-time spot electricity prices with your electricity consumption data in one place, making it easy to optimize your energy usage. With spot electricity, you can steer your consumption to cheaper hours and save on your electricity bill. However, price fluctuations may cause rapid price increases too. The app uses the Finnish market prices of the Nord Pool electricity market.

Q: How to best use the app if you have a hybrid contract

Hehku Jousto contracts are hybrid electricity contracts, where the price consists of a fixed base price, consumption impact and a basic fee. Your consumption impact either lowers or increases your electricity price. Simply put: The more you steer your electricity use to the cheaper hours of the month, the lower your electricity price will be. If you consume more during expensive hours, your consumption impact increases your electricity cost. The app helps you track both your electricity usage and the spot electricity price, allowing you to optimize your consumption impact.

Q: How to best use the app if you have a fixed-price contract

With a fixed-price electricity contract, you don’t need to worry about spot price fluctuations. However, the Hehku Energia app still supports smart electricity use: helping you track your habits, peak hours, total consumption, and the most energy-consuming devices in your home.

Q: Where can I download the application from?

Download the application for free from your device's application store: Apple Store or Google Play. You can find the application in the application store by searching for "Oma Hehku".

Q: What do I do if I can't log into the app?

You can first check if the email address you provided is spelled correctly. You can request a new password from the app's login screen using the "Forgot password" link. Our customer service team can help with login issues.

Home
You can easily find the most important information and features related to your account on the app’s home screen. See a summary of your electricity consumption for the current month, the current spot electricity price, and a graph showing how prices develop throughout the day. You can also find your latest bill and contract details on the home screen.

Electricity
Easily monitor your household’s electricity consumption in the Electricity view. You can track your consumption by day, week, month and year, and compare it with a previous period. You can also view a spot electricity price chart and the outdoor temperature for the selected period.

Bills
Your bills and contract details are conveniently available in one place. View your latest bills and contract information. You can also find your billing history and instructions for setting up e-invoicing here.

More
The app’s messages section brings together all important messages related to your account. This way, important information stays stored and is easy to find whenever you need it.

Download the Oma Hehku app

Download the free Oma Hehku app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
Create a new user account using your online banking credentials or Mobile ID, and choose an email address and password for signing in. Later, you can sign in to the app using these details or biometric authentication.
The Oma Hehku app is ready to use. If you have recently signed an electricity contract with us, your electricity consumption data will become available in the app once your electricity contract with Hehku Energia has started.
