Can the fixed energy price change during a fixed-term contract period?

No, with a fixed-price, fixed-term electricity contract, the electricity price does not change during the contract period. The price stays the same for the entire duration. A fixed price is our promise not to change the agreed price during your contract term. A fixed-term contract is binding for both parties, us and you. That means there will be no other changes to your contract during the term either! We’ll contact you well in advance before your fixed-term contract ends, so you can freely choose the electricity contract you want next.

Can I terminate my fixed-term electricity contract during the contract period time?

You can't terminate a fixed-term contract during the fixed contract period time. The contract binds you and us for the whole contract period, so choose the right length for you: a 6 month, 12 month or a 24 month contract. You can terminate your fixed-term contract even if the fixed contract period has not ended yet, and make a new electricity contract to your new address.

What happens when a fixed-term contract expires?

After the end of the term, your contract will continue as a “valid until further notice” type of contract. If you wish, you can change your contract with a 14-day notice period. In case the terms of the contract change, we'll notify you a month in advance.

What if I move during the contract validity term?

If you’re moving, we ask you to terminate your fixed-term electricity contract, even if the contract period is still ongoing. In addition to setting up a new contract, terminating the old one is important to make sure you don’t end up with two contracts active at the same time. Electricity contracts are always tied to a specific address, so when you move, you’re free to choose a new contract from our full selection.
